Alexandr Ostanin is a driving force for the art of tap dancing in Ukraine. He is the founder of the Ostanin Dance Centre and the Odessa Tap Festival. He has earned gold medals and other medals several times at the Tap Dance World Championships presented by the International Dance Organization (IDO). He has studied with Michelle Dorrance, Jared Grimes, Jason Samuel Smith, Cartier Williams, Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards, many more of the top professional tap dancers in the world.
