Remembering Tap Dancer Eddie Brown

A tribute, profile, and fan site for tap dancer Eddie Brown. Brown was born in in Omaha, Nebraska either 1915 or 1918 and he died in Los Angeles California in 1992. Eddie Brown is perhaps most well-known for choreographing a version of the B.S. Chorus that became known as Eddie Brown's B.S. Chorus or simple the "E.B. Chorus". Eddie Brown was the lead tap dancer in a 1970's San Francisco variety show entitled "Evolution of the Blues" that traced the development of jazz and blues music, and featured notable black entertainers. He later moved to Los Angeles where he taught many students to tap dance in the 1980's and he danced with Linda Sohl-Ellison's Rhapsody in Taps Ensemble and Lynn Dally's Jazz Tap Ensemble. ae also appeared at tap dancing festivals around the world. Eddie Brown was inducted into the Tap Dancing Hall of Fame in 2007.
