Started dancing at age 4. Trained in tap, jazz, and ballet at Deborah's Stage Door Center for the Arts in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Performed with the Michigan Rhythm Tap Ensemble while studying at the University of Michigan. Bartula moved from Michigan to New York in 2008 where she taught at several dancing schools and performed with the Dorrance Dance Tap Ensemble.
