One of Rod Howell's most important contribution to tap dance instruction is his "United Taps" series of tap dancing videos available for purchase in complete sets for beginners, advanced beginners, intermediate, and advance tap dancers. The videos are available via streaming, downloadable video files, and on DVDs. Samples of his tap lesson videos can be viewed free online at YouTube,. Rod Howell has also taught at Gregg Russell's annual Tap Into the Network workshop and he is on the faculty of two Southern California dance studios: the Aspire3 Dance Studio in Thousand Oaks and Studio 13 Dance in Simi Valley.
