2016 Tap Dancing World Championship

General and detailed information about the 2016 edition of the IDO Tap Dance World Championships, an international competitive tap dancing event presented by the International Dance Organization (IDO) in Riesa, Germany. The IDO was established in 1981 to organize competitions for dance forms not covered by other international dancing federations and governing bodies. In 2016 the Tap Dance World Championships were held at the same venue, and a few days after, the World Show Dance Championships. The show dance competition was held November 21-26 and the tap dance competition was held November 29 through December 3.
