Children's Competition at the 2018 Tap Worlds

News from the International Dance Organization about the children's competition and two master classes at the 2018 Tap Dance World Championships in Riesa, Germany.

The International Dance Organization’s World Tap Championships continue until Saturday 1st December at the SACHSENarena in Riesa, Germany. Nearly 1,400 dancers are taking part from 19 nations in a World Championship been organised by FVG Riesa and IDO President Michael Wendt.

In yesterday’s Children Finals, Czech Republic won 5 gold medals for solo male, duos, trios, groups and formations, whilst the solo female was won by Mexico. The events have also seen the IDO Tap Committee meeting, whilst dancers have signed up for the MasterClasses conducted by professionals Jo Scanlan from the United Kingdom and Coralle Versfeld from South Africa.
