Barbara has received the “Rhythm World Award” for preserving and passing on the legacy of Leon Collins, the American Tap Dance Foundation’s prestigious “Hoofer Award”, and the National Tap Day Committee’s “FloBert Award”. She holds a BA in Performing Arts. A highly sought after teacher, Barbara has taught at numerous workshops and festivals in 20 countries. When not on the road, Barbara teaches classes in New York City at Steps on Broadway and The American Tap Dance Center.
