About the Bogotap Festival
An introduction and general information about the Bogotap Festival, a celebration of
tap dancing in Colombia, South America.
EVENT: BogoTap Festival
The annual BogoTap festival was founded in 2014 by the AliveTap Company as a celebration of International Tap Dance Day in Colombia. The mission of the festival includes consolidation of the tap dancing genre in Colombia, encourage the creation of tap dancing spaces and shows, exchanging knowledge and training, recognizing tap dancers of Bogota, and encouraging a dialog between Colombian tap dancers and their international peers.
