Activities at the 2018 American Tap Festival
Events and activities included classes in tap dance technique, improvisation, music theory, tap history, and other tap dance related topics. Other events and activities included tap jam sessions, cutting contests, panel discussions, film screenings, a live tap concert featuring festival faculty and students, the American Tap Championships, and auditions for the Loose Screws Tap Company, a newly established performing ensemble of tap dancers age 13 through 22.
